JUST IN CASE THIS DOESN'T WORK I MIGHT BE RE POSTING IT

Max has her point of view from her point of view, but this is the Cullen's now, and after this I'm going back to Max's point of view, so this will be written in the sense that none of the Cullens are telling this story from their point of view, only mine. Got it? Good. ( At this point, the Cullens are running towards wherever the Flock is. And they're going fast) As an after thought, Jake is watching Renesmee, although it still freaks me out that he imprinted on her. Also, TOTAL IS NOT INCLUDED IN THIS! I am sorry for all you total fans out there, but there's just gonna be way too many characters to keep track of. Just thought you should know. Also, the reason they're in New York instead of Forks in the first place is because Alice had a vision showing them there, so they all went, hoping to find out what was in New York that they were supposed to find. And NY's been having a rain strak, so they have nothing to worry about. Even if it was sunny, think of how Alice did it when she took Bella to Volterra in New Moon. It was sunny then, too. So, no worries, he Culens are safe...for now...


Cullen's POV



"Edward, what is going on, and why isn't anyone telling me? This is exactly what I was hoping to avoid once I'd become a vampire." He shot Bella a sharp look. She looked away, and would have been blushing if she could. Edward's expression softened at her silence. He sighed in exasperation and muttered unintelligibly, even for vampires.

"Alice had a vision of children. Six of them. There were three girls, and three boys. The oldest is 14, the youngest 6." Bella looked at him questioningly. He chuckled at her puzzled expression and reached out to touch her face as they ducked under branches. She sighed and moved closer to him. Jasper cleared his throat.

"Um, Edward, not the best time..." Bella gave a grunt of dissatisfaction.

"Darn. I thought we were getting better." At this Emmet burst out laughing, and Rosalie joined him. Edward just rolled his eyes.

"Anyway," he said, moving away from Bella again just to be safe, "all the kids are fighting. But not each other," he added quickly at Bella's startled face.

"They're fighting these odd metal looking things." Alice jumped in.

"And the things fly!" Said Emmet in wonder.

"Then, how do the kids fight them? And why are they fighting anyway?" They all shook their heads in wonder.

"That's the thing Bells, " Alice said in wonder. "I don't know."

"Well, you don't know why, but how? How can six kids fight flying metal things?" Edward laughed in amazement.

"This is the strange thing Bella." stranger than all of this already? Wow. Bella thought. "They have wings."

The Flock. Back to Max...


"Angel, do you know if they're coming?" Fang asked for the hundredth time. I would be annoyed with him, but I wanted to know as much as he did. She was about to answer but froze. her little face went pale white, and she said,
"They're almost here." I jumped up and started to pace. Okay, okay, what are we doing? Are we running, hiding, flying...? I ran through hundreds of possibilities in the blink of an eye. We're going to stay. We're going to see what's coming. And if we have to, we're going to fight. Normally, we would have been out of here in the time it took me to think all of this, but today...I don't know. Somethings just different.

"Fang, get Angel, Gazzy and Nudge upstairs. Iggy, you and Fang are with me." They started to protest, but I cut them off with a look. They shuffled up the stairs slowly.

They're almost here, Angel said into my head. Okay, they were almost here. We needed to know what was going on. Now. I walked to the stairs hoping and praying to God that this wouldn't get us all killed.

Cullens again, Bella's POV



"Edward, are we almost there?" I asked for the tenth time in that hour alone. Emmet sighed in complete impatience, but Edward just chuckled. And he thought it was weird that I thought he should have been tired of me long ago, or at least that he should have decided that I was more trouble than I was worth. But, nope. And I wasn't about to complain about it, either.

"Almost there, Bella." Alice chirped while running. Then she stopped abruptly, making Jasper almost crash into her.

"Alice! Alice? Are you okay?" Jasper asked in alarm. We all gathered in a circle around her as she looked skyward with sightless eyes and a far away expression on her face.

"She's having a vision," Edward breathed quietly. Everyone stared transfixed as she slowly came back.

"Edward, they might try and fight us. It's hard to tell." Alice said, her voice coloring in disbelief.

"But, think Alice, they don't know what we are. They have no reason to think twice about fighting us." She sighed in defeat as she mulled this over.

"Hmm, I suppose you're right Edward." She said, but she still looked troubled.

"Well,what are we going to do about it?" I asked. Everyone looked at me, confused.

"Well, we can't fight them. We'll kill them. And we can't let them fight us. They'd break themselves, trying to break us!" I said. But just as Edward was about to answer, we came to a small house far away from any for at least two miles.

"We're here." Edward breathed in my ear. I shivered. I shot a pleading look at Jasper. He smiled knowingly and my feelings returned to normal.

"Thanks Jaz," I said.

"Any time Bella," he responded casually. We walked up to the door, and opened. As his hand fell against it, it eased itself open. Ech, creepy. If I wasn't a vampire, I'd have run by now. We all walked into the house and froze as all the lights turned on. How did we miss that?

Neutral POV



Max was ready to spring and Fang and Iggy were there to back her up. But before she could attack anyone, she needed to see what was there. Max froze and her jaw went slack as she took them all in. Emmet's eyebrows went up, his jaw went down, and his whole face was a mask of disbelief.

"The little lady!" He said in shock.

"The sexist pig!" Max said in an identical tone. Edward's brow furrowed in confusion and Fang looked like at max like she was crazy. She marched right up to him, although you could see she was trying hard not to be completely starstruck from his mere appearance. She jabbed a finger at his chest and spat out,

"What are you doing here?" Emmet leaned in even closer and said,

"I could ask you the same thing." Max's eyes went wide as he got closer and his sweet breath drifted into her face. Ohmigod, she thought, either he's going to kiss me or I'm going to die. Probably both.

She moaned slightly, and closed her eyes. She pinched the bridge between her nose and eyes, and ground out the word,

"Fang..." He glided silently across the floor and was at her side in a second.

"Max! Max? What's wrong?" She straightened up immediately at the sound of his voice and looked Emmett straight in the eye.

"I asked you first." She said tauntingly, and Edward could see neither of them were going to budge so he gave Jasper a signal and everything was instantly calm. Max and Fang shared a confused look while Iggy just stared.

"Iggy, go get Angel. And while you're at it get Nudge and Gazzy too. They're not going to stay if she can come." Iggy nodded and left the room immediately. Emmett started laughing hysterically.

"What, are you serious? You have GOT to be joking me. A GIRL, is their leader?! THAT girl is their leader?" he bellowed. Max walked up to him and said,

"What, you think girl's can't be strong?" She smirked as Rosalie narrowed her eyes at her husband and said,

"Yeah, Emmett, you think girls can't be strong?" Just then, Iggy came downstairs with the rest of the Flock.

Max's POV



Angel came downstairs with Iggy, Nudge, and Gazzy following behind. Angel came to stand by my side. I knelt down next to her.

"Who are they, sweetie? Are they dangerous?" She just shook her head at me, her eyes widening in disbelief.

"Max, " the one with the bronze tousled hair called from across the room. My head snapped up at the mention of my name from this stranger. I got up and walked across the room to him.

"Who are you,where did you come from, what do you want, what do you want WITH US, who sent you, how did you find us, how did you know my name, and why didn't you guys get any food at the supermarket?" I fired off at him, Nudge style. Nudge nodded her head approvingly and he chuckled. Such a musical sound. I caught my breath and quickly walked back to Fang. What is up with these weird people.

"Max," he said using my name again, "I am-" He was cut off by Angel.

"That's Edward, Bella, Jasper, Alice, Emmett and Rosalie." She pointed to each in turn. Edward's eyes widened slightly.

"Well, who are you?" Asked Rosalie.

"We're-" I was cut off by Edward.

"They're Iggy, Nudge, Angel, Gazzy, Max and Fang." I was shocked. But, but, how???? Was he a mind reader too????? What is going on here?
